HI,
I use the DP83TC811SWRNDRQ1 to designed a 100BASET1 to100BASE-TX,
follow the datasheet , i set the pin as the picture
the RX_D3 pin can output 50MHZ clk; the PHYID1 Register 0x0002 – PHY Identifier Register value is 0x2000;
the PHYID2 Register 0x0003 – PHY Identifier Register value is 0xA253, so i think the chip is normal.
but when i read he AUTO_PHY Register 0x018B – Autonomous PHY Control Register , the value is 0x001A, the bit6 is 0, Device in Managed operation;
but my pin6(LED_1) have no connected anything , LED_1 should in MODE 1, and the chip must be in Autonomous Mode;
the BMCR Register 0x0000 – Basic Mode Control Register value is 0x2900 ,the IEEE Power Down ,It confused me.
why the Register 0x018B – Autonomous PHY Control Register value is 0x001A?
