Hi team,

Could you please help check whether HD3SS213 can support bidirectional DP signal communication?

If it cannot realize, do we have any other DP switch that can realize this function?

And could you please help provide the complete datasheet of HD3SS213? In ti.com I can only download the 29-page datasheet, is it the complete version?

Hi team,

I want to add some information:

Blue path: DP pass through MUX, switch and bridge (DP to MIPI) to SOC.

Red path: DP pass switch and MUX to USB connector.

The switch (HD3SS213) and MUX (HD3SS460) should do the change between two kinds of path (blue and red).

Can our HD3SS213 support this function?

Hi,

Please use HD3SS214 instead HD3SS213.

HD3SS214 is a DisplayPort 2:1 or 1:2 Differential Switch, and HD3SS460 can support both directions, so I do not see an issue of using these two parts for bi-directional DP.
