hi team,

my customer wants to use MAX33076E and i recommend AM26LS32A. but they reflect that this chip doesn't have open load protection in input pins.

Do u have better recommendations? thanks!

The AM26LV32 is specified to have fail-safe inputs.

Hi Zoey,

The MAX device you reference is a 4T0R RS422 driver but AM26LS32A is our 0T4R RS422 receiver.

Did you mean the MAX33078 or MAX33079 (their 4x RS422 receivers)?

You can take a look at SN65LBC173A, this is a 4x RS422 receiver that can support the same datarate as the MAX part and has Vth+ below 0V (means it has internal fail safe).
