DP83TC811-Q1: How No Frame Detected Interrupt work on no link status

Hi,

we are confused with issue related to this status register 

INT_STAT3 Register 0x0018 – Interrupt Status Register

With our testing on DP83TC811 platform(only phy driver loaded, without any link established), we found too many interrupts occurred (60 times per second),

We want to figure out following:

(1)how this interrupt occurred and what is the purpose for this interrupt?

(2)the frequency of this interrupt behave normally or not?

(3)can we try not to deal with this interrupt since it consumes much system resource, what is the consequences of doing this?
