Can DP83TC811-Q1 WAKE ON LAN operate in SLEEP or LOW-POWER-SLEEP mode?

Or, does it need to be awakened by energy detection first before it can parse the WOL Magic Packet in SLEEP or LOW-POWER-SLEEP modes?

Hello Kung,

PHY wake on lan needs to operate in normal mode not in sleep or low power sleep.

As well as section 8.3.1 in the DP83TC811 datasheet. Wake on lan is mainly allows for connected devices residing above the Physical Layer to remain in a low-power state until frames with the qualifying credentials are detected. PHY will remain active and normal operation and has ability to "wake up" devices connected to it.
