DS64BR111: About the differential input threshold Voltage the RX of the DS64BR111

Part Number: DS64BR111

Tool/software:

Hi Ti staff.

I would like to know the min value of the differential input threshold voltage of this IC. In our system, the min differential output is 160mVp-p.

The default min value of this IC is 190mVp-p. Please see below.

Can I change the threshold voltage by address 0x12 on I2C?

Can I change this min value to 160mV by setting the register?

Regards,

Shuichi Sugi,

  • Greetings Sugi,

1). Yes you can change register settings using register control.

2). It is suggested to use 180mV or higher threshold settings. 160mV may cause noise to trigger signal detect.

  • Hi Nasser,

Thank you for replying your answering.

I understood that the DS64BR111 can changes differential input the threshold Voltage of RX by the registers value.

And thank you for your suggesting of threshold value(180mV). I'm going to use min 180mV as threshold.

    Thank you.
