Hello,

I need to connect the S-side of several P82B96 to a single I2C bus. I see a few forum posts about using I2C drivers/buffers on the S-side but wanted to get your advice on the newest I2C parts to achieve this.

Option 1)  I2C bus mux, controlled by Master, only talking to one S82B96 at a time

Option 2)  A buffer/translator between each S82B96 and the shared I2C bus

Option 3) ??

    The S-side pins have a voltage offset, and cannot be connected to any other I²C device with a voltage offset.

    I²C buffers have a voltage offset on at least one side, so 2) cannot work. You have to use 1).
