Thank you for your question. The DS90UB960 can not be connected directly to a camera, but can be a part of the solution to interface the camera to the SoC. To use the DS90UB960 a serializer such as the DS90UB953 will need to be placed between the camera and the DS90UB960 deserializer. The system would look like the following: camera -> serializer -> deserializer -> SoC.

The DS90UB953 does not support LVDS input. However you could potentially use a DS90UB947 serializer and pair it with a DS90UB940 deserializer, which is able to output CSI data.
