TUSB8041: Differences between TUSB8041IPAPRQ1 (automotive) and Non-automotive USB hubs ?

Please could you describe differences between automotive (TUSB8041IPAPRQ1) and non-automotive USB-hubs?

I need to operate a USB hub in demanding conditions (comparable to military) ...but I have problems with heating of TUSB8041IPAPRQ1.

I would like to order development board TUSB8041RGC ...and compare his heating with TUSB8041IPAPRQ1 heating...

Is there any reason why I should not use for example TUSB8041IRGCR? (extreme vibration, higher temperatures, 100Mbit/s on two USB ports)
Are there any other PROS and CONS?

Hi vladan,

The two parts are functionally the same, but Q100 parts are qualified to a variety of stress testing that the non Q100 parts do not go through. They have different datasheets with different parameters that reflect the qualification to the automotive standard. An industrial part can usually handle higher temperature than a commercial part, but do not go through the same AEC-Q100 tests.
