my customer find that the position of pin1 of ESD321 will be different in chips with different batches.
U can refer to the picture , it is hard for customer to tell the position of pin1 just according to the package of the device.
Do u have any advice on this case ? and how does customer to tell the position of pin1?
Hi Zoey,
The DYA package will be marked with the circular notch to indicate pin 1... this is how we mark pin 1 for many of our 1-ch diodes.
Are they having issues with automatic optical inspection?
If pin 2 is connected to the data/power line you want to protect, it is connected correctly, which I believe is what you're showing in the second image.
Pin 1 for the DYA package is GND.
