Does it have any requirements for selecting a flash in the TUSB9261 circuit?
How was this program downloaded during debugging, and is there any reference document?

We do have a list of specific SPI devices tested with the TUSB9261. They can be found in the TUSB9261 implementation guide: www.ti.com/.../slla315e.pdf
These devices, or any similar to them, should be sufficient for this device.
For programming the SPI, we do have a flash burner program for windows and linux we can provide, as well as the users guide attached to it.
As for reference designs, the closest thing we would have is the design files for the TUSB9261DEMO board. If you want, I can send those to you over E2E PM.
