DP83TD510E: How to achieve IEC61000-4-2, 4, and 5 performances?

Part Number: DP83TD510E

Tool/software:

Hello,

My customer has questions about surge and ensuring insulation.
Since 10BASE-T1L is a standard considering outdoor installation, they think that it is necessary to secure some degree of surge resistance and insulation on the circuit side. Referring to the circuit configuration of the evaluation board (DP83TD510E-EVM), the line on the T1L side does not contain isolation pulse transformers or ESD countermeasures, unlike the line on the Ether side. Is the performance of IEC61000-4-2, 4, and 5 described in the Features on the top page of the datasheet achieved by the DP83TD510E itself? Or is it achieved comprehensively by common mode coils in series, C in parallel, C coupling in series, etc., without using pulse transformers like EVM? Or is it achieved comprehensively by using any other specific circuit configuration?

Best regards,

K.Hirano
