---Question

I have questions about SN75162BDWR.

Could you please let us know about  Tjmax, Theta(j-a) and Theta(j-c)

I could not find in the datasheet.

I’d like to check whether the thermal condition generated by the device is at a reasonable value.

I appreciate your great help in advance.

Best regards,

Shinichi

  • Hi Shinichi,

Can you clarify which device you are inquiring about? You have mentioned SN75176BDWR (RS-485 transceiver) and SN75162BDWR (octal transceiver) which are different devices.

Since SN75162BDWR (octal transceiver) is an older device, we do not have the thermal information available anymore. If you are using this device, what is the use case for it? Because this is an older device, I might be able to provide a more modern device recommendation that suits the customer's needs better.

    Best,

    Ethan
