AM26LV31: Difference in naming convention for AM26LV31ID to AM26LV31IDR

Part Number: AM26LV31

Tool/software:

I just wanted to know if there was a naming convention or part number ordering breakdown for this part? I was looking to see what the difference between AM26LV31IDR and AM26LV31ID is, (i.e. what does the R mean?) and I could not find it on the datasheet (or older versions of the datasheet). Could someone help me with this?

Thank you,

John

  • Hi John,

    Thanks for posting on E2E!

"R" means that the devices are shipped in a tape and reel, whereas the non-R version is typically shipped in a tube. The device itself is exactly the same. This naming scheme is standard across many TI devices.

Let us know if you have any other questions,
