DP83TC814S-Q1: Ethernet PHY LEDs

Part Number: DP83TC814S-Q1

Tool/software:

Hello,

I am using the DP83TC814SRHARQ1 as my ethernet PHY and am trying to figure out how to properly connect the indicator LEDs on LED_0 (Pin 35) and LED_1 (Pin 6). My VDDIO voltage is set to 1.8V. The example hook-up from the datasheet is seen in the attached image.

My issue is that it is hard to find LEDs with a forward voltage acceptable to be directly driven off 1.8V. Do you have a design reference where these pins were used to drive LEDs with a VDDIO voltage set to 1.8V? My concern is that these pins are also used as bootstrapping pins, and I do not want my implemented circuit to disturb the bootstrapping functionality.
