PCA9534: MARKING, PCA9534DW, PCA9534DWR, PCA9534A

Part Number: PCA9534

Tool/software:

Hi TI

I am using PCA9534DW and PCA9534A

But there are two kinds of marking

"1CC821T PCA9534"

"23C1EJT PCA9534"

I would like to ask what the difference between the two markings is

(I want to know exactly whether it is a performance difference or a FAB manufacturing plant difference)

I also want to know what the specific performance difference is between PCA9534DW and PCA9534A

Additionally, PCA9534DW has been confirmed to be discontinued

I checked the TI website and it say that PCA9534DWR can be used instead,

but I would also like to know what the difference is between PCA9534DW and PC9534DWR

Please answer

Thank you

  • The only difference between the PCA9534 and the PCA9534A is the I²C device address, 0100xxx or 0111xxx.

"DW" indicates the wide SOIC package; "R" a large reel. The PCA9534DW without R was the same chip packaged in a tube.

  • Hi Jaemoon,

(I want to know exactly whether it is a performance difference or a FAB manufacturing plant difference)

No die differences. Same assembly and test sites also.

I also want to know what the specific performance difference is between PCA9534DW and PCA9534A

    Please see Clemens answer!

Additionally, PCA9534DW has been confirmed to be discontinued

Correct. Package Tube Carriers have been discontinued for this device.

It is offered in large tape and reel, or for the SSOP (DB) package, 80 per Tube.

but I would also like to know what the difference is between PCA9534DW and PC9534DWR

    See Clemens' response.

    Regards,

    Tyler
