Since we need 1.8K pull up to achieve the desired rise time, we have added an external pull up of 2.2k intentionally in parallel with the internal 10K pull up to achieve it.

What is the rise time that the customer is trying to meet? The TXS has internal one-shot circuitry, and will reduce the output impedance to <100ohms to allow for fast transition times, therefore there is no need to try to adjust externally with additional pullups. If customer still wishes to have control of specific rise times per their system, there is also the LSF0002/ LSF0102 that relies solely on external pullups for the output rise times.

Hi Ram,

Currently, the rise time specifications are provided in the datasheet of the TXS0102-Q1. Please note that the current pullups will form a parallel network with internal 10kohms and cause VOL levels to shift up which in most cases is undesirable. There is also the LSF0002/ LSF0102 that relies solely on external pullups for the output rise times if customer chooses to fine tune the transition times themselves.

That's correct. AXC level translators use a push-pull architecture so no external pull-up or pull-down resistors are needed.
