TCA9548A: I2C Switch application with different voltage

Hi Arya

I am just asking if I connect VCC with 3.3V then can we use Downstream ports (Slave I2C Ports) with 5V device (Pulled up with 5V) and 3.3V devices (Pulled up with 3.3V)

Upstream (Master I2C Port) port is connected with 3.3V device (Pulled up with 3.3V).

Hi Ishwar,

It's likely to work, but you still need to ensure you aren't exceeding voltage limits. Based on the schematic provided the voltage limit does not seem to be within spec.
