LMH0002 problem

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMH0002

I have a design with a LMH0002 which is connected to an FPGA. I am driving the LMH0002 inputs using an LVDS signal from the FPGA. I have the ref resistor set to around 650 ohms. When I look at the SDO output I have only around 200 mV but I was expecting more like 900 mV. I haven't  connected anything to the /SDO pin as I am not using it. Is this ok? I cant really see what I am doing wrong as there isn't much to the circuit.

Thanks

Jon

  • It is unclear to me from your message what the load at the output pin of the LMH0002 is.   Normally  the device would expect to see a 75Ohm resistor from each output pin to Vcc, and then an AC coupling to a 75Ohm load which is at the destination - are both of these resistors in place?

If you use the recommended 750Ohm Rref, do you see the nominal 800mV p-p output?
