ISO721 isolation voltage

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO721, ISO7521C, ISO7631FC, ISO7641FC

I have an application that requires up to 1200V between the input side of an isolator and the output side.  I see from the specifications in the ISO721 datasheet that it lists a working "insulation" of 560V-peak.  Does this mean that I should not use this isolator?  Are there other isolators that are at least 100Mbps that could meet my 1200V requirement?

Thank you

  • Yes, you should not use ISO721 if your application requires 1200Vpk continuous operating voltage between input and output sides.

We don't have a single channel isolator with 1200Vpk working voltage but we have 2, 3, and 4 channel isolators that meet this requirement. You can consider ISO7521C, ISO7631FC or ISO7641FC for your application.
