Hi All,

Our customer hope to evaluate DS100BR410EVK-4 with SATA cable because they need to use the signal from HBA. We know that DS100BR410EVK-4 has only SMA connector for input and output, so can you introduce the board that can convert from SATA connector to SMA and vice versa from other PCB vendor?

    Hi Satoshi-san,

    You would need either a breakout cable or breakout board to convert from SATA to SMA. TI does not provide this type of breakout, but other vendors carry these for testing purposes. All of these adapters seem to breakout into female SMAs, so you will need an SMA male-to-male barrel in order to connect to the EVK. Please see the below for examples of breakout adapters. Typically, breakout boards are less expensive than breakout cables.
