Hi Team,

Does TI have CAN tranciever that corresponds to CAN FD(CAN with Flexible Data Rate)?

I' d like to replace UJA1162TK.

Automotive grade(AEC-Q100) is also required.

Hi Yaita-san,

Currently TI does not have any CAN transceivers that would be drop in compatible with the UJA1162 (14-pin HVSON package). These parts are currently on the roadmap but will not be released for more than 1 year. Does the opportunity require the exact same footprint?

No, it doesn't require the exact same footprint.

I heard functional equivalence is required at this time.

Yaita-san,

Thank you for your feedback. We are currently in development of our first automotive CAN FD transceivers, but it will be mid next year before these will be released.

Right now we only have a commercial FD CAN transceiver family (SN65HVD265, SN65HVD266, SN65HVD267).

Are you looking for 2MBPS operation, or faster?
