1G Ethernet-Fiber Media Converter Using TNETE2201B

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TNETE2201B, DP83865

I would like to provide electrical isolation between two Ethernet interfaces.  I think the easiest way is to use a pair of  Cu-Fiber converters joined by fiber.  However, I also need to have 1G speed throughput.  Is it possible to hook up a two TNETE2201B chips "back-to-back" as a 1GE media converter?  I believe the DP83865 cannot support fiber at this time.  Are there other options available?

Thanks,

Mark
