Question about SN65LVCP22

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65LVCP22

Hi,I'm FAS of Japan Disty.
I have two quetions.

I downloaded datasheet & user's manual  from TI's homepage.
No6 and No7 Pin definitions are swapped.
Which one is correct?

 Datasheet: sn65lvcp22.pdf / P.5 No6Pin IN1 +, No7Pin IN1-
 User's Manual: sllu060.pdf / p.19 No6Pin IN1-, No7Pin IN1 +

 http://www.tij.co.jp/product/jp/SN65LVCP22/description
 http://www.tij.co.jp/jp/lit/ug/sllu060/sllu060.pdf

User Manual: I saw a reference circuit of sllu060.pdf at P19.
The NC pin No8, No9, it is connected to VCC.
Will no problem in this is not connected?

Please help me.
Best Regards.

  • Hello Asano-san,

The datasheet has the correct pin assignment. It looks like the schematic shown in the User's Guide has the IN+ and IN- pins swapped. The layout images (and board images) show the correct assignments, though.

The NC pins do not connect to anything in the device, so it is OK to either leave them unconnected (floating) or to tie them to a DC potential.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Regards,
    Max
