ISO7340FC digital isolator query

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO7340FC

1. I have application in which MCU 16 pins are switching between 0 & 3.3V at every 10us that is around 50Khz.

2. But I have to output the circuit at 0 & +5V.

3. I have been looking at ISO7340FC which has four channels.

4. So Vcc1 will be +3.3V & Vcc2 will be +5V for ISO7340FC.

5. Datasheet says output can sink/source 4mA of current.

6. Question is what if more load current is demanded or pin gets shorted to gnd accidentally? Do pins have overload or short circuit protection?

Edit:

7. Page 21 of datsheet shows enable pin is pulled up to VCC2.

In my circuit Vcc1 = 3.3V & Vcc2 = 5V.

Can I drive enable pin from MCU pin (0 or 3.3V) i.e Vcc1 supply, to enable disable ?
