DS90LV032AQML Recommended Operating Temperature

Hi,

Regarding the DS90LV032AQML, the recommended operating temperature from the datasheet is listed as -55 to 85C. Directly under that, it appears that the chip has been characterized for 125C. For this application, I need 125C.

My question is, is the device already qualified for 125C? If so, why is the recommended operating range cut off at 85C? In other words, what performance or characteristic changes occur at temperatures above 85C, if any?

This part is rated for operation to +85C and is tested at +85C.

The Quality Conformation table in the datasheet is incorrect. It should be listed at 85C. This error occured when the format of the datasheet was changed. Thank you for pointing out this error. It will be corrected on the next revision of the datasheet.

This is one of our few mil and space products that is not rated to +125C. Characterization was once performed at 125C and it was found that part did not pass all of the specs. Unfortunately, I do not have any details on what failed.

Does the customer want mil or space grade part?
A drop in replacement part with operation to +125C would be the SN55LVDS32 for mil and SN55LVDS32-SP for space.

The customer deals in both space and defense but it will most likely be the mil spec part. Thanks again for your quick turnaround and answers!
