I’m looking into using the HD3SS212 switch for my project. I was wondering if anyone has used this for SATA or PCIe. Would this switch be compatible with those standards?

Dan,
We have a couple of devices optimized for PCIe signals you can see listed here.
Yes, PCIe is a valid application of the HD3SS212 and is highlighted in the applications on the datasheet.
Thank you,
Adam
Thanks Adam. Can you clarify about using it for a SATA application?
Thanks,
Dan
TI has hundreds of passive switches and multiplexers with various configurations, voltage levels, and bandwidths. These switches are multi-purpose and can be used for any signal standard (HDMI, DP, PCIe, USB, SATA, MIPI, etc...) as long as you know the signal standard's voltage level, bandwidth, and number of required differential or single ended data paths. Knowing these 3 parameters of the signal you would like to switch you can quickly narrow down the hundreds of switches into a couple to choose from.
Thank you,
Adam
Was hoping there was some expertise within TI on this, and someone might know the voltages required by SATA and help provide value by clarifying if the HD3SS212 could comply and meet that standard's requirements.
Is there anyone else that you might be able to check with?
