SN65LVPE502A I can't detect a device.

SN65LVPE502A

Hi.

There is a state that the device can not be recognized in this connection configuration.

What are possible causes?

· Recognize state "Host power ON, in the state of the device power supply OFF, → ON the power of the device."

· Recognized not state "Host power OFF, in the state of the device power supply ON, → the Host power ON"

Remove the SN65LVPE502A, and then recognized as connecting the HOST and DEVICE directly.

Please e-mail if you have the required information.

  • Hello,
Where is the LVPE502A's power coming from? From the Host? Form the Device? Independent to the host and device?
    Can you provide your schematic?
What does "Analiza" means?, what happens if you connect the Device directly to the LVPE502A?
    Regards
  • Hi

I appreciate the comments from you. It will attach a block diagram.

The 5V(VBUS) from the host I am down to 3.3V at the regulator.

VBUS host is providing to the "DEVICE" and SN65LVPE502A.

The analyzer is connected between the SN65LVPE502A and "DEVICE", it was tested.

It is not connected to SN65LVPE502A, if you connect a "DEVICE" and the host, without problems.

    We were able recognition (detection).

Since the information provided by me to Kanata is possible, thank you support.
