Hi Expert,

I have one question.

According to datasheet of ISO7341FC, there is following spec.

According to this spec, Both case of signal is AC and case of signal is DC are included in this spec.

So, the question is,

* Could you provide Icc value case of only signal is DC ?

We believe when signal is DC, power dissipation will be less than value which are described in datasheet.

Hi Machida,

For ISO7341FC, the Icc value doesn't change much from DC to 1 Mbps, that's why we have provided these specs in the data sheet.

At higher speeds (> 1 Mbps), the Icc values are higher as shown in the data sheet.

Thank you for your reply.
I understood as shown below for your reply.

1. You observed almost same Icc value b/w DC to 1Mbps when you performed characteristic.
2. However, you observed different value compared w/ 1Mbps in case of higher speed.

Is my understanding correct ?

BTW, there is no spec for "min" value of Icc. Do you have plan to update about "min2 value of Icc ?

Yes, your understanding is correct. There is no plan to add minimum spec to the datasheet.

Umm.. customer wants this minimum spec due to their syetem...
If you can NOT provide this spec, customer request me to confirm whether TI can guarantee that minimum value is over 2.4mA at least.

Hi Machida-san,

Simulation data shows the worst-case (process, temperature, voltage variation) min ICC2 value (5 V supplies, DC to 1 Mbps) to be 1.92 mA.

So yes, it can be lower than 2.4 mA
