Hi Expert,

According to datasheet of ISO7240CF-Q1/ISO7240C-Q1, ESD protection is defined 4kV (I believe that this spec is Vpeak.).

However, there is no description about RMS(Vrms).

The question is

* Could you show me Vrms for both ISO7240CF-Q1 and ISO7241C-Q1 ?

* Could you show me the time which it can apply Vpeak voltage ?

* Could you show me the time which it can apply Vrms voltage ?

BTW, according to spec of commercial device of ISO7240CF/ISO7240C, Vpeak and Vrms are defined as shown below.

Vpeak : 4000V and can be applied "60s".

Vrms : 2500V and can be applied "1 minute" (but Production tested ≧ 3000V)

Are above spec also applied for Q1 device ?

    There are two different specs that are involved here there is 4kV HBM ESD rating which is as per the JEDEC standard and 4kVpeak Isolation rating which is as per the UL1577( every device is tested in production at 3kVrms for 1sec ). ISO7420C commercial device has also the same specifications for both these parameters.
