Hi,

  • The DS125BR800A datasheet says there are 256 levels for EQ control, but Table 3 only lists a few of the options. Is there a more complete list for all 256 settings?
  • The minimum input EQ setting of the repeater is quite high. Is there a way to turn off EQ?

    Hi Allen,

    There is no method to completely bypass the DS125BR800A equalizer.  The minimum setting does reduce the gain to ~ 3 dB at the higher datarates.  This level of equalization will work well on signals which have little or no attenuation.

    The equalization table represents a good cross-section of available settings.  Especially at lower gain levels, there are no better settings available. 

    For lower levels of equalization, the DS125BR820 has reduced gain and is pin compatible.
