Hi,

Our customer will use DS110RT410 in their application.
They have questions about CTLE.

[Question 1]
Please tell me how to bypass or disable CTLE (EQ).

[Question 2]
If it can not bypass or disable CTLE (EQ), is it correct to perform the following procedure ?

To manually override the CTLE boost under all conditions, perform the following steps.
1. Set the DS110RT410 channel adapt mode to 0 by writing 0x0 to bits 6:5 of channel register 0x31.
2. Set the desired CTLE boost setting in register 0x3a (set 0x00).
3. Set the desired CTLE boost setting in register 0x03 (set 0x00).
4. Set the desired CTLE boost setting in register 0x40 (set 0x00).

[Question 3]
They can not imagine how the boost curve changes with CTLE value change.
Is there a CTLE gain curve of DS110RT410 like the following link?

Question [1] and [2]

The minimum setting on the DS110RT410 is not a true bypass as the signal still goes through the multi-stage linear equalizer. The steps you have outlined in [2] will keep the CTLE at a minimum value.

Question [3]

The DS125 and DS110 devices share a common equalizer design.
