MY customer is encountering the broken issue of TPS2051C and investigating.

Could you please confirm the condition whether there is a problem.

When Vin is VBUS(5V), 6V( a few ms width) is added to Vout.

Is there any problem?

Your description does not appear to violate the recommended operating conditions of TPS2051C so it is OK.
