TUSB319-Q1: TUSB319-Q1 attach detection

Part Number: TUSB319-Q1

For TUSB319, if Type C to Type A Dongle is plugged into type C port prior to TUSB319 being powered up will the TUSB319 detect attachment upon power up or will type C to type A dongle need to be removed and reasserted after power up in order to detect attachment?

If Type C to Type A dongle is connected to type C port prior to TUSB319 being powered from input supply will TUSB319 recognize that it has a connection on type C connector and apply power to output immediately upon power up.

Hi Dave,

Yes, it will be detected by the TUSB319. Hence, once TUSB319 is powered-up, it will be able to detect since detects a pull down.
