Hello All,

I am looking for a TRX for RS-485 and RS-422. SN775LBC176 has the specs I need apart from the number of receivers on bus which is 32 while I need at least 128. Could you please recommend me some p/n with the same specs as 176 but with at least 128 nodes?

    Hi Antonio,

    as you probably know the number of nodes depends on the current that the device can outsource which can also be seen from a resistance perspective, that is there is a limit on the maximum resistance that can be driven. In order to increase the number of units on the line you have to decrease the current while increasing the impedance of the receiver.

    We do have new devices that are part of the THVD15xx family which can support up to 256 nodes. Depending on your specs needed, such as CMR or packages, you could chose between THVD1500 /1510/1550.
