We are using the device SN65HVD1782QDRQ1 to interface 5V power supplied devices, which require a VIHmin of 0.7xVCC = 3.5V. The datasheet of SN65HVD1782QDRQ1 ( www.ti.com/.../sn65hvd1781-q1.pdf )mentions in Page5, that the VOHmin is 2.4V. The device SN65HVD1782QDRQ1 is powered with 5V. Is the specification for 2.4V is at the VCC of 5V or 3.3V? What is the guaranteed VOH at VCC = 5V.
