Hi,

We would like to configure "SN65HVDA100-Q1" as  LIN master mode and get end sensor data. The connections are [TI TUSB4041 ==> (USB->UART Bridge) ==> SN65HVDA100 Host ]

As per our understanding since this is Physical LIN interface layer we don't need to change many things in this.

However, Is there any sample Linux driver available for Linux for SN65HVDA100?  If yes then can you please provide the same?

    Harshit,

    Because our device is just a physical interface, we don't come up with any drivers ourselves. I assume you mean drivers for the LIN protocol through the TUSB device? I've moved this thread to the TUSB forum to see if they can help out.

    The TUSB4041 is just a USB hub device. Since it is compliant with the USB specification, it will automatically load the USB Hub drivers that are part of the Linux kernel.

    I don't think the USB Hub is part of this question as it is completely transparent to the USB to UART bridge, that would be the one connected to the LIN PHY.

    I am re-assigning the question back to the industrial interface team supporting SN65HVDA100-Q1 in case there are any follow-up questions on that device; but it seems the answer is that there are no source code examples showing how to implement the LIN protocol.
