DS15EA101: LOS and EN Pin Timing

I have a customer who is looking for the following specifications on the DS15EA101:

Time from Loss of Signal to assertion of LOS pin

Time from Signal seen to deassertion of LOS pin

Time from assertion of EN to data path valid

Time from deassertion of EN to data path invalid/enabled

I assume the first number is not insignificant because, at the min 150M (6.666ns data rate) speed it would have to wait for at least 6 bits or 40ns before asserting for 8B/10B encoded data.

Do we have these numbers that I can share with the customer?

Hi Richard,

DS15EA101 is a derivative of our SDI adaptive equalizer.

Signal detect/loss is done before equalization and normally these are less than 20nS. However, we haven't done characterization to characterize these parameters over PVT.
