DP83816: TPRDP / TPRDM pull up or no?

Hello

My customer had chosen DP83816 for their board.

At first, customer had pull up to VDD for TPRDM and TPRDP  as data sheet p101 Fig6-2.

Customer suffered error in case using long cable (100m).

Then customer found Demo board schematic in the web , and it has no pull up for TPRDM and TPRDP.

Customer removed pull up for TPRM/TPRP following as Demo board schematic, and error had improved.

Which is correct between pull up or no.

Why Demo board has no pull up, but data sheet Fig6-2 has.

Please advise.
