SN65LVDT41: SN65LVDT41 and SN65LVDT14 work in isolated power condition

Hi team,

My customer is using SN65LVDT41 and SN65LVDT14 to transfer signal in two boards. And the two boards are powered in two different isolated power supply. During their test, they found the signal is abnormal. 

So, they asking if the two boards should be in same ground so the SN65LVDT41 and SN65LVDT14 work under same ground?

Hope you could give some comments to this problem.
