Hi,

I have two questions.(Customer inquiries)

●Transmit clock signal between 1 MHz and 10 MHz.
●Send the clock signal from board A and distribute it to board B and board C.
Please refer to the attached file.

Q1.Termination resistor is mounted on board B.
　Is there any problem with the mounting of this part?

Q2.Does this termination resistor affect normal operation?

Seishin,
RS422 only supports one bus topology (daisy chain). For example, if board A and B are the farthest ends of the bus, board C should not have any terminations. The stub from connector C to the main bus should be as short as possible. You can refer to this app note (session 3 and 6) for more details (www.ti.com/.../slla272c.pdf).
