ULQ2003A: Constant current sink?

Using appropriate biasing with diodes and resistors, could the ULQ2003A be used as constant current sink if there would be one or two diodes (whatever number is needed for appropriate biasing) from each input to ground and an appropriate value resistor from the output of say the CD4511B 7-segment display driver two drive a common anode display directly?

Hi Handy Andy,

Could you please share a diagram or schematic of what you are trying to accomplish here? LEDs can be driven with this device by knowing the voltage and setting the appropriate resistor, so you may be able to use similar logic here.

I actually just found on Digikey a LED series resistor calculator and I was able to find the appropriate value.
