DS90C124: Qustion for product shelf life

Part Number: DS90C124

I have question on product shelf life.

When I checked from TI website, the part "DS90C124IVS/NOPB" is a product supporting standard product shelf life. That means that TI packaged products is two years from the time it was manufactured to the time it is delivered by TI or a TI authorized distributor.

Does it mean that if I order that part from TI, TI disributor or TI online directly, the delivered part's DC (date code) will be the one before 2 yeares.

For example, if I order at date of 1801 (WW1, '18), the oldest DC whcih parts delivered might have is 1552. The older one than this will be not provided.Am I correct?

Please check if my understanding is correct
