DS92LV0421: Channel Link 2 compatibility

I have a legacy system which uses the DS92LV2422 deserializer.

This was connected to via Channel Link 2 to an image sensor with parallel output serialized using the DS92LV2421. The output from the deserializer was then supplied to an FPGA.

The image sensor is now obsolete and has been replaced with a unit providing an LVDS output. Can I use the DS92LV0421 serializer with the new image sensor to connect to the DS92LV244?

Are there any compatibility or setup issues that I need to be aware of?
