hi everyone

i have tps2511 for usb charger its worked OK! but when i use it for charge iphone 4s its not work!

can any one tell me why?

Can you please describe the resistor configuration you have around the tps2511?

I can help debug once I see how the part is configured.

oh sorry i think you asked about R_ilim_set!
i use 33k for ilim_set
and both EN & CS is 100K resistor

and cap capacity is great than said

Are you using the TPS2511 as a DCP or is there another datapath present in the system?

Your connections look correct for a DCP, so I cannot see why it would not properly charge an IPhone 4s. If there is another device on the bus, then there could be connection issues.

yes TPS2511 role is DCP
there isnt any device on the bus line. but iphone 4s charged with apple 30pin to usb cable, Is this a problem?
and i have some question to:
1.is there another circuit to use TPS2511 for charger?
2.is TPS2511 can Detect all kind of phone(iphone&android)?
3.if you cant help me will you close this form?

1. The TPS2511 is compatible with the Iphone4s and should be able to detect and charge the phone at 5V, 1A
2. The only required variant would be to properly connect the CS pin to the buck or AC to DC converter if you are utilizing cable compensation.
3. The TPS2511 can detect any BC1.2 compliant phone, so almost any phone should work.

If you are utalizing cable compensation, I could look at you implementation to see if there is any issue with it, but beyond that I don't see anything that you have described that should cause the TPS2511 to fail to operate with the Iphone4s.

1.I think i don't have cable problem because i use this cable for charge my iphone4s with it's adapter.

2.i connect CS pin to feedback of DC buck converter and have one 100K resistor for pull up to 5V input.

Do you have any way to monitor the d+/d- lines with an oscilloscope when you first connect the port.

I don't see any reason that the Iphone4 would not charge based on what you have described to me. I might be able to help further if I can see the signaling.

unfortunately i don't have osilloscope. but i measure D+/D_ with voltmeter i don't see any change.

all ready said it's worked to charge samsung wave || & huawei G610. and to day i test my portable system on iphone6s and another huawei worked well.

yes it's 5V.
