TPS25740A: operating temperature

Hi Sir,

Could you proved the operating temperature for TPS25740A? I only find operating "junction" temperature range (-40~125 degC) in detasheet and can't find operating temperature.

I'll use at automotive application (-40~95degC). Do you has any suggestion?

Hi Driscoll,

Because TPS25740A uses an external FET, the power dissipation by the IC is minimal during normal operation. As such, the junction temperature will be close to the ambient in normal operation.
