TVP5150: TVP5150 - Interlaced or Progressive scan type output?

Hello,

I have a question regarding the output format supported by TVP5150 decoder. I am trying to decode the NTSC input using TVP5150 such that it gives an 8 - bit digital output that can be displayed on laptops / LCDs. But I am not sure whether TVP5150 is capable of converting the NTSC interlaced type input to a progressive type output for the digital data to be viewed from a laptop or LCD screen. Can you please advise me on this concern?
