Hi Sir 

1. For 2T/2R ,which RS232 solution have the best ESD performance ? Speed need up to 120Kbps 

2. As I know TI have RS485 EFT test reference design ,May I know RS232 have this kind of document ?

    Hi Kai,

    There are several 2T/2R solutions available with high levels of integrated ESD protection (8 kV IEC 61000-4-2 contact discharge, 15 kV air discharge). I'd recommend TRS3232E or TRS3223E if enable/power-down controls are desired. Both devices operate from either 3.3-V or 5-V supplies and support charge pump capacitor values down to 0.1 uF. If these do not meet your needs for some reason please let me know and I can try to recommend an alternative.

    We do not have a reference for RS-232 with respect to EFT, although you can read about how to choose external protection components for an RS-232 interface in this blog: e2e.ti.com/.../how-to-choose-a-tvs-diode-for-rs-232-rs-485-and-can-based-on-voltage-ratings.
