DP83843: Using MDC and MDIO pins

DP83843 is not recommended for new designs. If you need to support SNI, please use the DP83848 device family.

MDIO and MDC should be connected to your MCU as recommended by the MCU manufacturer. The MAC interface of the MCU should support this. I would recommend looking at a reference design with the MCU chosen. We do not have one on record using the Freescale device you listed.

My processor working in 5V supply , but DP83848 is in 3.3V and voltage levels are not compatable. so I select the part DP83843.
When I go through the datasheet I found that"In 10 Mb/s Serial mode, the TXD[0] pin is used as the serial data input pin, and TXD[3:1]

In my design I uses only TxD0 and RxD0 pins. Is it works?

I understand.

I cannot say entirely positive that if your design is using TxD0 and RxD0 pins that it is SNI. I believe it is, and would work, but you will have to make that determination yourself.

Maybe your processor datasheet says whether or not it uses SNI.

In my processor datasheet not found the word SNI. In the dtasheet they mentioned as SIA(Serial Interface Adapter) interface. Is both are same?

The interface is officially called SNI. Is there any mention of Ethernet in your processor's data manual?
