Hi expert,

When select 3.3V supply mode operation, tie VDD_SEL pin with 1-kΩ resister to GND?

It is described in DS80PCI402 datasheet, "Tie VDD_SEL = 0 with 1-kΩ resister to GND".

But it is not connected in "3.3V supply connection diagram".

Which one is correct?

DS50PCI402 uses 2.5V supply. Could you please clarify your question.

My question isn't about DS50PCI402.

DS80PCI402 can uses 2.5V or 3.3V supply.

Hi Nasser-san,

I think that "10.1 3.3-V or 2.5-V Supply Mode Operation" says that VDD_SEL will be tied to GND through 1kohm resistor in 3.3V mode.

But following diagram of "Figure 14. 3.3 V or 2.5 V Supply Connection Diagram" shows VDD_SEL is tied directly to GND in 3.3V mode.

Which is correct VDD_SEL pin termination in 3.3V mode?

Hi Kawasaki-san,
The connection of VDD_SEL to GND can be direct or with a 1K resistor. Either method is okay.
